Critical Mass has garnered several honorable mentions at the Canadian Gospel Music Association's 1998 Covenant Awards. These were all in the Selection Awards category where the judging is done by an panel of judges as opposed to record sales. The song "Body and Blood" was second runner-up in the Inspirational Song Of The Year category, "Wisdom" was second runner-up in the Rock Song Of The Year category and the album "Faith Looks Up" was first runner-up for Rock Album of the Year.
