Celebrate (2006)
Critical Mass' latest release is a live Praise and Worship album. Recreating Critical Mass' high energy praise and worship set on CD was not an easy task but on this CD, the band has delivered, with the help of producer, Andrew Horrocks. Favorites such as "Awesome God", "Days of Elijah" and "Trading My Sorrows" are given a modern rock edge that gives this album a unique sound. Critical Mass invites you to throw this CD in your car, pump up the volume, roll down the windows and sing along at the top of your lungs! |

Grasping for Hope in the Darkness (2004)
Click here to read reviews of this album!
Critical Mass' latest release is a concept album which is edgy both musically and lyrically, taking on such topics as pornography, the abuse scandal, neglecting loved ones, the rise of liberal theology in the church and premarital sex.
It traces the story of a man who has lost his faith, his daughter who is an unwed mother and a priest who tries to help them all. Ultimately, however, the album is about redemption and hope.
Featuring a new cover of the Kansas song, Carry On Wayward Son, the winners of the Canadian Gospel Music Award for Best Rock album in 2000 and 2005 and producer, Andrew Horrocks, hope that "Grasping for Hope in the Darkness" will be a novel listening experience for Catholic and non-Catholic audiences with styles ranging from hard rock to rap. |
